SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival Highlights

Jessica DeLucia Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando

It's like a gift that keeps on giving. The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando is back! All it takes is park admission for anyone to enjoy a visit to this exciting event. While you discover the ocean's wonders, treat your taste buds to a memorable culinary adventure at this much-anticipated festival. Let this be a guide for you to prep for the experience. Use this knowledge wisely.

Navigating the Flavors: What to Expect

Enter a place where tasty food and ocean marvels come together. SeaWorld's Seven Seas Food Festival is a fun celebration of foods from around the world. It offers a lively mix of flavors, scents, and cultural experiences with over 190 chef-crafted dishes and drinks inspired by cuisines worldwide. We highly suggest investing time into reading this guide, but if you want to skip to our SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival highlights video, you can watch it here:

Seven Seas Food & Beverage Lanyard

Unless you're planning to dish out money on individual menu items, we suggest purchasing the Seven Seas Food & Beverage Lanyard to enjoy a variety of options while saving money. Specialty items like seafood tend to be more expensive, which is where the lanyard becomes especially useful. Strategize your purchases however you like, but with a 10- or 15-sample lanyard, there are no restrictions on what you can choose. Your only 'dilemma' - if you can even call it that - will be deciding between a $9.99 and a $15.99 menu item. Either way, the lanyard provides a great value, making it an investment worth considering for the event. Plus, you get a cool lanyard to wear.

SeaWorld also made life easier by adding a QR code to the Seven Seas Food Lanyard. Scan it with your phone, and like magic, a digital map unfolds before you. This allows you to browse the many food and beverage options and plan your next culinary stop with ease. We have to say, this was a nice touch. Otherwise, there are Seven Seas Festival Maps located throughout the park, numbering where each culinary stop can be found.

Culinary Delights to Try from Across the Seven Seas

As you can already see, The Seven Seas Festival is like a ticket to try many tasty dishes, with different markets showing off their specialty foods. Try exciting treats like the delicious Chicken Tikka Masala from the Indian Market. Or enjoy classic Fish & Chips from the North Atlantic Market. Whether you like spicy, savory, sweet, or a mix of flavors, you will find something that you love. There's also limited gluten-free options so those with dietary preferences can still indulge in the festival's offerings.

It's appropriate to mention that we didn't get to try all 190 options - surprise, surprise - so our favored culinary treats may be a bit bias. But to help you explore the world of food, the following is a list of sweet and savory dishes we recommend trying.

  • Considerations Before You Go: What to Keep in Mind

It's always helpful to have a few critiques. It's worth noting that the sample food and drinks are served tapas-style, meaning the portions are smaller. However, interestingly, just a few of the menu items left us feeling quite full. Feel free to visit on an empty stomach, but keep this in mind when planning your day.

Part of this critique was going to mention crowds, but we didn’t encounter any issues during our visit. That said, it’s still a good idea to arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the food, drinks, rides, and all the other experiences the park has to offer. The festival runs from Thursday-Sunday from 12:00PM until the park closes.
